Our Story
Asteria® Mattress was founded in 2022 by John Smith, a mattress industry veteran with over 20 years of experience. John got his start working in mattress manufacturing where he learned the ins and outs of design, materials and construction.
Throughout his career, John was frustrated by the lack of quality and comfort offered by mainstream mattress brands. He knew it was possible to make better mattresses that truly help people sleep better. So he set out to create his own company centered around that goal.
The name Asteria comes from Greek mythology. Asteria was the Greek goddess of falling stars and nighttime divination. Her name evokes visions of a peaceful night sky and propitious dreams.
John chose the name Asteria to represent his mission – to create the most comfortable and dream-inducing mattresses imaginable.

Step 3. Quilting
After laminating, our skilled sewing team meticulously quilts the mattress covers by hand using premium threads. Decorative patterns provide added visual elegance.
Step 4. Border Attachment
Strong laminated borders are attached all around the mattress edges to bolster the sides and prevent sagging.
Step 5. Final Inspection
Each finished mattress undergoes a thorough multi-point inspection before being prepared for shipping directly to your doorstep.
